The U19 Netball squad have had an excellent start to the season. They have competed in the District Rally, MESSA league and Essex Cup competition.

In the Brentwood District Competition the girls played some extremely good netball and worked together as a team. Considering this was the first time the girls had all played together, they gelled well and complimented each other within the games. The U19’s come 2nd in this competition, narrowly losing to Brentwood School.

We met Robert Clack School in the first round of the Essex Cup competition in what proved to be an extremely animated game. They proved to be a tough opponent in more ways than one but the Shenfield team proved mentally and physically stronger and won 26-16. The girls will now meet Brentwood in the second round.

On Thursday 15th November the girls are competing in a County tournament to be held at Chelmer Park, Chelmsford. If the squad finish in the top 4 of the competition, they will progress through to the Regional round of the competition; an exceptional achievement.

Good luck to all the girls and congratulations on the good work so far this season!
